The mini-meetings are scheduled to allow each PHA to drive in on the day of the meeting and be able to return
home on that same day. Each hosting PHA is responsible for the agenda of the meeting. GAHRA has
requested that a few of the same topics be covered at each meeting. Our suggested topics include:
The Importance of Correct Counts in the 2010 Census
ARRA Reporting
When and How Often should I update my Utility Allowances
The new Rent Refinement Rule effective in January 2010
GAHRA has invited staff from the Atlanta Area HUD office to attend these meetings. However due to their
busy schedules with all the ARRA requirements, we are not sure who, if anyone, will be able to attend.
In order for the host PHAs to adequately prepare for the number of people attending, please contact them and
advise who and how many will be attending. Also you should ask for directions to the meeting location.
